50s Blue Party Dress w/ Flocked Bows 35b/26w
An adorable party or prom dress!
Woven nylon net, covered in little blue, flocked bows. Light baby blue and the lavender taffeta beneath shows through as a touch of pink. Little puffed sleeves that sit low on the shoulders.
Ruched bodice and mid-waist. Pleated, poufy skirt with a soft net crinoline beneath and pale lavender taffeta lining. The dress is shown with a light petticoat beneath the taffeta (not included in this sale).
Closes at the back with a long metal zipper. Commercially made, no maker's tag.
Condition:
Very Good. A couple of teeny breaks in the outer netting at the back of the dress do not detract because they can't be seen except upon the closest inspection, they're lost in the folds of the skirt. A little discoloration on the inner taffeta skirt and under the arms, which can't be seen when worn. A little bit of stress at the back princess seams, nearing the waist. No one will notice it and they're still quite sturdy, but please take it into account when doing your measurements.
