50s Enchantress Cocktail Party Dress 36b/30w
What a great dress, perfection for an afternoon/early evening cocktail party in a casual setting. By Enchantress of Florida, this beautiful dress feels like a rayon or rayon blend and is done in cool water colors of blue, purple, green, gray and white. Skinny, sexy triple straps that are knotted at the front. Sweetheart neckline. Bodice is lined with "the unquestionable bra", giving shape and a little support. Diagonal darts across the front give this curvy beauty a more pronounced shape. Bow placed at the left hip. The back has a kick pleat and it zips at the back with a long metal zipper.
Condition:
Fair to Good. Colors are bright and clear. One of the seams across the front appears to have come undone and it was repaired by hand, and I would say it needs to be re-done. There is stress at most of the seams across the upper tummy and upper back but no danger of those coming undone. I would have a seamstress go over these seams for reinforcement and in particular the one that was hand-repaired. I've priced it to reflect the needed repairs. Otherwise, it is very wearable and sexy and fun for a hot summer night outdoors.
