50s SUE BRETT JUNIOR Dress with Bolero XS S
Sue Brett was founded by Jack Baker in 1947. It was a family-owned business with locations in New York, LA, Chicago and several other big cities. This cute set appears to be cotton or a cotton blend. The colors are muted olive green, blue-gray, black and white, a really interesting pattern. Form fitting, wiggle-worthy, with a vented pleat at the back. Hidden pocket at the left hip. Closes at the back with a long metal zipper. The matching bolero has a big wrap-around collar and closes with three large mother of pearl buttons. Just beautiful.
Condition:
Very Good to Excellent. The belt is missing, but I don't think it's really needed, this look is complete as-is. The middle button on the bolero has a little dink in it on the back, but this looks like a natural flaw in the button material. Does not detract. The tag is frazzled on both ends.
