Vintage 50s Glamour Black Velvet Cocktail Dress by Bernetti 36b/24w

This beauty is early 50's vintage. Deep black rayon velvet (some photos have been lightened to show detail). Scalloped neckline, with a deep cut at the shoulders. Princess seams at the upper portion of the dress ensure a curvy silhouette.
A pocket at each hip. Lavishly beaded and sequined, this dress is an exquisite beauty! Slit at the left left leg and closes at the left side with a long metal zipper. You'll shine like a star in this unique dress.
Condition:
Very Good. The slightest crush to the velvet at the underarms, nearly invisible. The side slit was coming undone and it has been mended; it had a slight tear at the bottom of the slit, this has also been mended and is very nearly invisible - no one will ever notice it. The original belt is missing, but I know you can find one that's perfect for the occasion. The dress is fabulous.
