What a wonderful dress by Carlye, which was one of the great junior dress houses in St. Louis, Missouri. It is silk or a blend, with a shantung texture, beautiful quality. Deep navy blue with glossy white stitching accents at the collar and down the front. Big buttons at the front, and accent buttons at the hips. Closes at the front with the buttons and a series of snaps.

Condition:

Very Good. I'd call it excellent, but the original belt is missing, an easy fix. A few loose threads on the white stitching, not really noticeable (remember, these are extreme close-up photos). Otherwise, this pretty dress appears barely or never worn.
