By Polly Brief, this darling frock is dark navy linen, with open-weave stitching throughout. Big, pointed collar. Princess seams at the bodice. The skirt is full-ish and given the sheerness of the dress, you'll definitely need a slip beneath. Closes at the front with four big round, glossy pearly buttons. Comes with matching belt.
Condition:
Good. The dress had two small-ish holes on the front of the skirt, left side, about 5 inches up from the hem, which were mended (see photo, below). Very, very difficult to spot, I'd be surprised if anyone did see them. It was hemmed from its original length, a decent job, and wasn't cut so if you wanted more length, you could let the hem out, though I couldn't guarantee that there wouldn't be a permanent line or some fading there. The dress hasn't been cleaned, and you'll want to have that done. A little iron shine on the under-side of the collar and at the waistline; the collar shine can't be seen when worn and the waistline shine can be hidden beneath a belt. The tag is frazzled. I've priced it accordingly because of these very small flaws, it's really sweet!
