50s Peach & Black Formal Dress Small 34b/28w
My favorite color combination! No maker's tag inside, possibly hand-tailored, a lovely creation.
Done in crisp, swishy jet black taffeta (photos have been lightened to show detail). Strapless, the upper bodice is embellished with leaves shaped with shiny black beads. Princess seams, boned bodice. Piped waistline. The full skirt (not a circle skirt, but very full) is long and flowing. At the back, on top of the hips, rides a stylized bow, lined with peach taffeta. Closes at the back with a long metal zipper.
A gorgeous dress for a special event!
Condition:
Very Good. A couple of picks in the taffeta at the bodice, nearly invisible. There are two seams where the fabric was pulled; it appears the dress was a wee bit too small for whoever wore it. The pulls are NOT bad, the fabric is not pulling apart, but just a heads-up-no one will notice them-just be sure the dress is your size! The original hem was let out; again virtually invisible and no one will see it. You could always have it taken up again, but I decided to leave it long.

Waist: 28 inches/71.1 cm
Length from *underarm to waist: 9.25 inches/23.5 cm
Length from waist to hem: 41.5 inches/105.4 cm
