60s Ladder to Success Marce Original Skirt Suit 42b/26w
Simply put, a beautiful suit by Marce Original.
Deep black in color (photos have been lightened to show detail), this suit appears to be a mohair boucle or perhaps a blend. Really, it's gorgeous and very nicely made.
Notched collar; pocket plackets over shallow pockets. The jacket is a boxy cut, the skirt a-line. Both pieces are fully lined with black acetate satin.
The jacket closes with two sculptured buttons; the skirt closes with a metal zipper and button at the left side.
Condition:
Excellent. The button at the left hip may have been replaced at one time, but does not detract. Other than that, the suit appears to have been never worn or only worn very lightly.
