60s Maidenform Concertina Girdle Medium

$0
Medium | Spandex/Elastic | Soft White
This foundation is soft white in color. Satin panels at the front and back, with peek-a-boo stitching down the front.

Tight, stretchy spandex and elastic. Mesh action insert at the back. Finished with a scalloped, stitched hemline and four metal and rubber garters.

Maidenform created the Concertina girdle to deal with the problem of waistline rolling and creeping in girdles. They created an "action insert" that opens when the wearer bends, preventing the girdle from rolling and moving. A nice design, and one that really works! As the advertisements said, "You'll never yank at a girdle again!"

You will look far and wide to find another Concertina, they are very scarce.

Condition: Very Good. Please note in the photo, one of the stitches at the peek-a-boo had popped; it has been mended and is in no danger of coming loose. Fraying at the satin flags at the front garters, you can leave as-is or trim them. Not "just like new", having been worn and washed a couple of times, but looks beautiful and is strong and sturdy, with very little wear. Powernet, elastic and rubber stoppers are in great shape.
