20s 30s Vintage Czechoslovakia Bug Brooch Pin

Bohemia is the older name for Czechoslovakia, the area that became today’s Czech Republic. For centuries, glass from Bohemia traveled into North America first as raw beads, then later as buttons followed by jewelry from Czechoslovakia.

Crafted from brass and Czech glass, this cute li'l guy has a lot of personality! The belly is a faceted honey-colored teardrop framed with brass wings. Its thorax is a ruby-red facteted oval and its eyes are emerald green. Closes with a c-catch pin back.

Condition:

Very Good. The slightest oxidation on the brass, not bad at all and only seen upon close inspection. The stones are in good condition as is the clasp.

1.5 inches long
1 inch at its widest point
