80s Four Seasons Leather & Snake Taupe Purse
I've been struggling over this bag-I love it so much, I've been soooo tempted to keep it for myself. It is a perfect blend of neutral colors and is so attractive!
By Four Seasons and made in Hong Kong, this purse is dark taupe leather, accented with strips of stitched snakeskin. The strap is long and embellished with a twist near the top, which can be re-tied if you want the strap shorter. The leather on the flap is embossed and is finished with a big wood bead. When the flap is open, you can see that the bag has a drawstring running through the front, giving it a fluted appearance at the opening.
The bag is lined with taupe fabric and contains one zippered compartment. Closes at the outside with a magnetic clasp.
Condition:
Very Good to Excellent. The tip of the leather that comes out the bottom of the wood bead has a little color worn off, but it is barely noticeable and if I can find some taupe leather dye, I will fix it; again, not at all tragic. A little scratching on the metal name plate inside, with a tiny glue mark next to it. Some pilling on the inner fabric, very light, doesn't detract. Otherwise, just gorgeous!
