60s Christian Dior Chapeaux Silk Tulle Turban Hat Flower Petals
What a beautiful, dreamy hat by Christian Dior! The overall design of the hat, with flower petals placed on the silk and covered in the tulle give me an ocean vibe, petals on gentle waves.
The petals are done in colors of yellow, pink, lavender, blue and red and are laid on a bed of gently folded turquoise silk, which gathers in a swirl at the back of the head. Covered in turquoise-colored tulle. Lined with a darker turquoise netting. The second label inside reveals that this was sold at Woodward & Lothrop in Washington, DC.
Condition:
Excellent. I can't find anything wrong with this beautiful hat.
