60s TORI RICHARD Hawaiian Maxi Dress Big Floral Medium
Tori Richard was founded in 1956 in Honolulu. They began by making women's resort clothing and this dress is a fine example of that. It has a big, splashy floral pattern done in blues, greens, pinky-purple and white. The fabric appears to be cotton. Watteau train at the back. Cut slightly shorter at the front of the dress. Closes at the back with a long nylon zipper.
Condition:
Good. It looks to me like this dress is cotton and that the cotton started out as polished cotton, a treatment that gives a rich sheen to fabric. The dress has been worn and loved and also laundered and the "polished" element of the cotton has disappeared. Even though it's gone, the dress is still very pretty and very wearable and still has many wearings ahead of her. The hem was coming down in a couple places and that has been fixed. I've priced it lower because of these issues.

Length from shoulder to hem (front): 56 inches/142.2 cm
Length from shoulder to hem (back): 58 inches/147.3 cm
