After the WWII, Etienne Aigner began creating custom-made high-end leather goods for a number of haute couture boutiques in Paris. He established himself designing handbags and belts for the European fashion elite. In 1950, after successful apprenticeships with designers Christian Dior and Cristóbal Balenciaga, Aigner moved from Paris to New York City to launch his brand in the American market. - Information obtained from Wikipedia

Nice looking, classy, classic. Beautiful bag by Etienne Aigner. High-quality black leather, accented with gold hardware. The handbag has two sections (fabric lined, with "Etienne Aigner" written throughout). The lining is a soft gold color. There's also a small flat zippered pocket inside. Thisd is convertible; the skinny strap can be removed to make this a clutch.

Condition:

Very Good. A couple light scratches and dinks in the bag, not at all tragic and not noticed except upon closest inspection. Nearly invisible light scratching on the logo medallion, at the end of "Aigner". Also please remember these are extreme close-ups, so the flaws appear exaggerated. The bag actually looks never used; the inside is pristine.
