This bag has no tag of any kind to identify its maker or country of origin. Does that really matter, it's so nice?! The color is a dark taupey-brown, a good neutral color. It is unlined and contains a small, attached bag for keys, lipstick, treasure...whatever you'd like to put in there. It works with a hinge mechanism, just pull to open, push to close. The skinny strap is not detachable but can be tucked inside the bag if you prefer to use it as a clutch.
