70s Vintage RODO Tan Straw Handbag Gold Chain Italy

$48
Straw, Leather, Faux Leather, Brass | Tan, Gold
Rodo was established in 1956 by Romualdo Dori, who created the name "Rodo" from his initials. He started in Florence, Italy making woven wicker handbags. The business is still going strong today, really beautiful products.

This bag is tan-colored woven straw. The flap is embellished with deeper tan patent leather and brass. The lining feels like leather (though it could be faux) with a small pocket that is lined with vinyl. Signed "Rodo" and "Italy". Finished with a long gold chain strap. Snap closure.

Condition:

Very Good. A little wear just above the inner pocket, not bad at all. Some pressure marks inside from the chain; can't be seen so I don't think it's bad at all. Slight wear at the brass snap closure. Otherwise, beautiful and how wonderful to own a vintage Rodo bag!

Measurements:

Height: 7.5 inches/19 cm
Width: 10.75 inches/27.3 cm
Strap drop: 17.75 inches/45.1 cm
