70s 80s Romantic Red La Femme de Vanity Fair Gown 32b 32b
Straight from the PleasureQueen Collection to you! This label, while I wouldn't call it rare, is rather unusual and difficult to find. It appears to me that this is a late 70s, early 1980s vintage.
There's a lovely, wispy delicacy to this valentine red gown. Skinny spaghetti straps flow into the sheer, soft lace of the bodice and upper back. The back closes with rolled chiffon ties and has a bare feel.
The nylon of the skirt is soft, slick and semi-sheer, with an a-line cut. Very full at the floor.
Romantic and sensual.
Condition:
Very Good. There are two strips of elastic at each side of the bodice that have lost nearly all of their stretch. This doesn't affect its wear-ability, but I do consider it a flaw, and I've priced the gown accordingly. (By the way, in the third photo, the darkness at the lower back on the gown is caused from my steamer, it's not a permanent stain!) Otherwise, simply gorgeous.
