80s Koos Van Den Akker Patchwork Bag

$78
Big! | Faux Leather/Crushed Velvet | Browns
Koos Van Den Akker is a Dutch-born fashion designer. He is best known for his "Koos" clothing and Bill Cosby sweaters. He has inspired such designers as Marc Jacobs and Geoffrey Beene and the 2002 Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquiere.

The distinctive Koos style is unmistakable in this fantastic, HUGE bag! The deep brown faux leather is done in an ostrich-embossed print. The front flap is a combination of faux leather, patent, faux suede and crushed velvet, done in tones of taupe, rust, black and chocolate.

The long, cross-body strap is knotted at the shoulder. Fully lined with a floral print fabric, it contains two smaller compartments-one zippered and the other open. It closes with a tasseled drawstring.

The Koos (for Meyers) logo appears in three places: the inside on the pocket, on the inner zippered pull and hanging from the drawstring at the outside.
