Vintage Caron Fleurs de Rocaille Lotion Cologne Splash

$138
Approx. 6 ounces? | Scent of a Woman | Vintage
Fleurs de Rocaille was launched by the Caron perfume house in 1933. This is the scent Al Pacino mentioned in the movie, "Scent of a Woman". Che Guevara gave this to his wife as a wedding gift! It's a beautiful, soapy, aldehyde that opens with jasmine, rose and lilac; carnation, lilac, ylang-ylang and lily of the valley are the middle notes and then it dries down to a woody, earthy base.

When I got this, it was wrapped as shown, completely sealed. I made the decision to carefully unwrap it to inspect the bottle and its contents. I'm not really sure of the age, but it is definitely vintage, dating anywhere from the 40s to the 60s. As you can see, the bottle has never been opened, it is sealed with foil and there appears to be zero loss of product. The entire box is 13.5 ounces; the bottle itself is 12.5 ounces. I estimate the contents to be approximately 6 ounces, which is a nice big bottle of yummy scent!

Condition:

Excellent; never used, the metal seal is tight. As noted above, the box was opened, there is a little tearing on the wrapping paper and some light spotting on the box. It's a perfect gift for vintage fragrance lovers.
