40s early 50s Peck & Peck Striped Jacket

$0
42 Bust
Wow! What a great jacket by Peck & Peck. Peck & Peck was known for its classic women's wear clothing. It existed from the late 1880s and closed in the 1980s.

Vertical striping (something of a rarity!) done in red, blues, brown and yellow. The fabric feels organic, like linen or a linen blend. Padded shoulders, cuffed, 3/4-length sleeves (I've photo'd them fully cuffed and halfway cuffed, they can also be worn cuff-less). A large pocket at each hip, and they close with working buttons. Button-down front. Really nice, a rare find!

Condition:

Very Good to Excellent. Really, nothing to speak of as far as wearability. The tag is a bit frazzled. There is a wee bit of wear on the buttons, can't even be noticed. It's a very fine piece.
